No coquetry, very nice music. Sometimes it reminds me of such albums as: "Jeff Beck with the Jan Hammer Group Live", "Colosseum - Valentyne Suite" and "SBB". Of course this is not a complaint. That's just how I feel. Very good material for the album !!! (...) And I am glad that there is a prohibition of the guitar !!! (...) "Andrzej Jerzyk a.d. 2020

Touch & The Sky
Touch & The Sky is a Bruges-based band composed of international members (BE, UK, PL).
​Their joint musical performances, heavily improvised, are anything but accidental. It's a well-thought-out, explosive stylistic blend that touches on many musical worlds – funk, rock, blues, soul – in short, fusion. The instrumentation is also interesting: the saxophone and the EWI (electronic wind instrument), piano and keyboard are based on the classical rhythm section , creating interesting, unusual sounds.

"After a few years of hiatus, spending my musical time primarily in my home studio, I decided to form a band. Luckily for me, several friends I met while living in Belgium were willing to participate in this project." - wrote Roy Andrews. - "After the first rehearsals, I'm full of optimism, and working with musicians who, although coming from different musical worlds, are characterized by open minds. This bodes well for the future, both for the music and for the band itself."

MEMBERS
Jez Harrop is a British vocalist gifted with a uniquely warm voice and an emotional singing style. He is also a skilled lyricist, able to imbue music with compelling lyrics in just a few minutes.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity,
Benny Wachtelaer balances his life between sleek design and exhilarating rhythms.​
The Designer & Maker
In his daily life, Benny is a passionate designer. Whether it's visual concepts or technical precision, he flawlessly combines aesthetics with functionality. This same focus is evident in his hobby as a model pilot,where technique and concentration converge in the air.

Rhythm & Music
Music runs through his veins. When he's not at his drawing board, you'll find him behind his drums. Benny is the drummer for both TOUCH & THE SKY and THE GOLD RUSH, where his tight beats lay the foundation for their signature sound.
Jonas Maes is a generalist and bottom-up thinker.

Embracing chaos and trimming it down to a dynamic and ever-evolving harmony of purified, primordial, atomic, logical building blocks, he dreams of Life as a grand free improv jam session where every soul, performer and observer alike, is flowing freely in a force field of spontaneous creative energy and analytical beauty evolved into second nature.​
Magic happens where each person dances out of their comfort zone, where meaning and void come together, humming along with the jam of Life, a glimpse of cosmic clairvoyance, sung to us by the birds, enlightened by fading sunlight that gives birth to a new dawn, again and again until losing ourselves in what we had long forgotten.​
Jonas occasionally plays piano and organises jam sessions.
Stefaan Vantyghem is an experienced Belgian bassist who doesn't shy away from heavier and lower-pitched sounds, he's one of the pillars of our rhythm section. A haven of calm and sensitivity.
Roy Andrews
Polish saxophonist, also playing the EWI, demonstrating a freedom of improvisation and an emotional playing style. Composer, songwriter, and music producer, Roy has spent the last 38 years on stage in many places around the world. He has performed with many different people, and for him, it has been a blast… most of the time.
